A second place finish in the
Top Ten Dash that earned a front row start for Scott was a great
beginning for the PASS 150 at Canaan Fair Speedway on Sunday May
30th. But hopes for a great race were dashed as a bump from a
following car sent the #84 sliding up the track and then over the
top of Turn 3 into the dirt before the first lap was even complete.
Scott pulled back on track, but a slowly deflating rear tire slowed
the #84. Scott struggled to keep on the pace till a caution would
allow a change, but fell further and further back.
Laps lost on the track and then
laps lost in a green flag stop when the tire finally came off the
rim put Scott in 23rd place, having scored only 119 out of the 150
laps.
Scott slides from 4th to 6th in
the PASS points standings. |
