2004 PASS Race 9 - PASS 150 -
Riverside - 8/7
|
 |
Still waiting for fresh
motor, Scott again ran Mike Rowe's backup car at Riverside
Speedway in Groveton, NH on 8/7.
With more than two hours of rain delays upsetting the
schedule, PASS had decided to cancel the heats and dash and
grid the cars according to time trials laps. With the car
not handling so well, Scout wound up in 22nd for the
feature.
With the first 96 laps run under green, Scott went a lap
down. On the outside pole for the restart Scott found the
#84 now running much better than before. But the car had the
brake balance a bit off and, as cars in front checked up on
lap 132, Scott locked the rears and spun with a couple of
other cars down to the inside of turn one. The 84 was
retired with body damage for an 18th place finish for the
night. |
