Mulkern Racing would like to
apologize to our sponsors and race fans for the unfortunate incidents that took place at
Oxford Plains Speedway
on July 3, 2005.We stand strong on
our convictions of what happened during the last restart and believe it to be a matter
between Scott and Mike. They are the only ones who truly know what happened. For that
reason, we would like to extend an apology for involving any crewmembers.
In reflection, regrettably Scotts decision to stop
at the front stretch pit stall was an emotional one. We all know how passionate the sport
of racing is. Having said that, we would further like to emphasize we did not start any
physical altercation.
SP2 Motorsports, Seth Holbrook and Buster Bean, were
great support to our team in Halifax and were prepared to assist us if necessary during
the Oxford race as well. For that we are grateful.
Furthermore, the post-race incident in the back pits
holds no merit. It is important to note that the situation in no way was a reflection of
Scotts actions during the race or the unfortunate scene on pit road.
While we are not certain when we will be racing in the
future, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Special thanks to the
PASS teams who have been supportive through this ordeal. We look forward to moving on and
ask that one look to OUR website for any announcement regarding OUR team. Thank you. |
